Dr. Prem Raj Baidya

Dr. Prem Raj Baidya M.D., M.S. is a Senior Consultant Cardio-vascular Surgeon and Human Organ Transplant Surgeon. He did his Doctor of Medicine M.D. in General Medicine from Daghestan State Medical Academy, Makhachakala, Russian Federation and M.S. in Cardio-vascular Surgery from Bakoulev Scientific Center for Cardiovascular Surgery, Moscow. He has also done advanced training in Cardiovascular Surgery from Escorts Heart Institute and Research Center, New Delhi, India.

Dr. Baidya has published and given many national and international scientific presentations, of which some of them are:

1. An outcome of palliative reconstruction of outflow tract from the right ventricle without closing VSD of the patients with tetralogy of Fallot with hypoplasia of pulmonary arteries. (Sixth All Russian Congress of the Cardiovascular Surgeons, Moscow, 5-8 December 2000)

Dr. Baidya is a lifetime member at Nepal Medical Council, Nepal Medical Association, Surgical Society of Nepal, Young Men’s Buddhist Association Nepal, Cardiac Society of Nepal. He is also an executive member of Cardiac Society of Nepal and Nepal Heart Foundation. He is the vice president of Nepal Triathlon Association, Kathmandu Branch.
